Walking with God into a New Year!
The beginning of a new year can be a time of great hope and great discouragement. For many, the holidays are a time of mixed feelings and emotions. On the one hand, there are many precious memories and traditions that fill the heart with joy, but there can also be great sadness if you have loved ones who have passed on, or if you are unable to be with them. People experience depression at the holidays at alarming rates, and the new year can bring a letdown from all the gatherings of the Christmas and New Year's Season.
Whatever your situation, you can know that God knows your situation perfectly, and He is ready to provide what you need. As we move into 2014, it is not an unknown to God. He knows us well, and He knows the plan He has for us. Remember always, that God has your best interests at heart. He will walk with you in 2014, and He wants so much for you to walk close to Him. He has not changed, and He is always faithful. Commit yourself now to trusting in the Lord with all your heart, and walk with Him boldly into the New Year!
As a church, we look forward to what God has in store as we continue to worship Him, love Him, share Him, and grow in faith. Together, let's join Him daily in the great work He is doing all around us in the lives of people. May we glorify Him with every word and deed!
